The DHR series carries the same plywood enclosure as Yamahas beloved DZR series reducing vibrations from the drivers so your performers can hear themselves at their best. Having developed cutting-edge new DSP technology Yamahas FIR-X system provides smooth dynamic linear phase FIR (finite infinite response) filters at the crossover frequency instead of the typical crossovers of other loudspeakers. This makes a smooth almost unnoticeable crossover between the powerful 12-inch woofer and the bright present coaxial compression driver while avoiding the all-too-common phase smear distortion that can muddy the sound of your venue.
